A Colourcity’s Art Space, like many modern day technical developments, began life in a converted garage in the apartments’ grounds in Orange, NSW, as an exhibition space for art works by Maggie Rosso during the precursor to the first ‘Banjo Paterson Festival’, held in February as one of the four festivals held in Orange annually.
The Art Space offers an ideal space for local artists, many of whom exhibit and are recognised both nationally and internationally
A Colourcity Art Space provides an opportunity for Orange residents, visitors and our guests, to view and purchase some outstanding works.
Representing a wide variety of artists, as part of its regular exhibit, A Colourcity Art Space periodically presents solo and group shows as well.
Unlike other galleries A Colour City Art Space charges low commission as an incentive for artists to display their best works as Art also ‘value adds’ a guest’s stay at A Colourcity Luxury Apartments.
See the events page for more information on upcoming shows and events.
Because of illnes the art space has been closed but will be reopening on Tuesday 2nd. August 2016 with a mixed showing by local artists, featuring Eris Fleming, Loretta & Larissa Blake, Rhonda Campbell, the 13 year old Kaluumn Lee Maple, the Art Studen Joel Tonks, Des Farr, Glen Southwood and Kay Gorringe,
